Although not officially recognized as a breed of dog, Cockapoos, a cross between a cocker spaniel and a poodle, have been high since the 1950. Breeders have taken the best traits of Cocker Spaniels and poodles and raise them in the Cockapoo. Side Poodle, the Cockapoo is intelligence, relatively little hair and a quasi-shedding coat that comes in several colors. From the side Cocker, we need a robust construction and easy and loyal personality.
Intersection as the Cockapoo is also less likely to have many genetic problems that breed pure breeds do (this is called hybrid vigor). In fact, other than normal care for a dog (grooming, cleaning ears, safety, exercise) Cockapoos have no health problems including, but should be noted that, without constant care and cleaning ears, Cockapoos can develop ear infections, thank you to long floppy ears side cocker.
Cockapoos can live 18-22 years and come in different types: Teacup Toy (height below 10 inches and weighing under 6 pounds), Toy (height 11 to 14 inches, weight under 12 pounds) and Standard (height over 15 inches and a weight over 12 pounds).
Since the Cockapoo is a dog of mixed breed and currently there is no breed standard, there are variations in the construction the dog from SLIM to squat. The Cockapoo can also be reproduced with three different layers: a tight curly hair, a medium curl and a flat coat. Although different in style and color, all the layers are less likely to sink, making a consideration for people with allergies. However, Cockapoos, Like all dogs, will have dander (though considerably less than other breeds of dog), a potential allergen. The longhaired coat should be trimmed regularly to prevent matting.
Cockapoos enjoy being around people and their intelligence makes them easy to train. Though active dogs, Cockapoos do not need large open spaces to run around in and are well within the parameters of the apartment, provided they are mounted at least once a day. It's friendly personality – as well as the nature of forgiveness and loyalty – which makes it ideal pet for those who have children and other animals. Even when left alone for long periods of time, Cockapoos are generally not destructive, though can become anxious so crating is recommend if leaving a Cockapoo alone for more than four out at once.
